Common questions

I purchased Pro but I'm still capped at 2.0x.

Open Settings → About FastCast → Restore Purchases. If that doesn't work, email us with your Apple ID purchase confirmation — we'll help within 48 hours.

Can I share FastCast Pro with my family?

Yes. FastCast Pro supports Apple Family Sharing — up to 6 family members on your Apple ID family can use Pro without additional charges.

Is FastCast a subscription?

No. FastCast Pro is a one-time $9.99 purchase. No recurring charges, ever. You get a 7-day free trial first.

Why iPhone only?

FastCast v1.2 is tuned for iPhone. We'll evaluate iPad and Mac after we see how v1.2 is used in the wild.

I don't see the Acquired episodes the app said it would load.

We try to load two Acquired episodes (Costco and Trader Joe's) on first launch. If your device was offline when you first opened the app, the auto-load skipped. Add Acquired manually via the Add tab, or search for "Costco" in Acquired's episode list.

How do I cancel my free trial?

You don't need to — if you don't tap "Unlock Pro" in the paywall, the trial simply ends on day 7 and you keep the free tier (up to 2.0x). No charges, no cancellation step required.

What data does FastCast collect?

None. FastCast has no server, no analytics, no account. Everything stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy.
